沈德勋，南海论坛上的风云人物，历史上被评为影响力巨大的绅士。他出生于清流县的琴源村，一生经历了军阀混战和地方政权的变迁。在他的家园里，他组织自治军抵抗外来侵扰，但最终因兵败被迫守在家中，为人治病。沈德勋继承了大量遗产，但他却以高额税款对待村民，还兼营纸业，以豪奢的生活方式著称。
在1918年，当蓝玉田奉派担任清流知事时，粮款短缺引发了严重问题。蓝玉田向各村摊派大洋，每里一千元，这一方案让当地百姓深感困难。但是，当沈德勋站出来认领这一千元大洋时，他展现出了不凡的勇气和智慧。这次行动赢得了蓝玉田和其他人的尊敬，并促成了他们之间深厚的情谊。
随后，蓝玉田推荐沈德勋到广东梅州，在许崇智部任营长。许崇智对沈德勋信任有加，并指示他回乡招募士兵、制造武器，最终组织了一支自治军，以攻打清流县城为目的。然而，这次攻城行动遭到了知事区戊圻和驻军刘连长的埋伏，最终失败。此后，沈德勋再也没有参与任何政治活动，而是选择隐居山村。
直到22年7月，当东方红军解放了清流地区时，沈德勋的一位子孙决定加入红军，与之战斗并参与土地改革活动。此后，他继续跟随红军北上抗日，对抗日本侵略者。而在他的归乡之际，却遭到了还乡团成员的手刃，他们伺机报复导致他夫妻双双遇害。
Shen Dechun, a prominent figure in the South China Forum, was known for his significant influence as a gentleman. Born in Qinyuan Village, Qingliu County, he experienced the turmoil of warlord politics and local regime changes throughout his life. In his hometown, he organized an autonomous army to resist external threats but ultimately had to retreat back home to tend to the sick.
Shen Dechun inherited a substantial amount of property from his ancestors and managed it through high taxes on villagers and paper production. His extravagant lifestyle earned him fame among locals.
In 1918, when Blue Yutian was appointed as the magistrate of Qingliu County, there were severe issues due to insufficient grain funds. Blue Yutian imposed taxes on each village at 1 thousand yuan per mile; however this plan left villagers feeling burdened heavily. But when Shen Dechun stood up and took responsibility for that one thousand yuan silver dollars; he displayed extraordinary courage and wisdom which impressed everyone including Blue Yutian leading them all into deep admiration towards him.
Later on during those years after getting promoted by blue yutan's recommendation shen dechun became an officer under Xuchongzhi's department in Meixi county ,Guangdong Province .Xuchongzhi trusted Shen greatly enough even gave orders about secretly returning home recruiting soldiers manufacturing weapons organizing an autonomous army aiming at attacking Qingliu county . However this attack failed due to being ambushed by Magistrate Quwugui & General Liu who made plans ahead of time .
After that failure Shen dechun never again involved himself in political affairs instead chose seclusion living alone in mountains.
Until July 22nd year when Eastern Red Army liberated Qingliu area ,one of Shen’s grandsons decided to join red army fight alongside with them taking part in land reform activities afterwards following red army northward against Japanese invasion while upon return faced assassination by bandits seeking revenge causing death for both spouses
